Dental Department is one of the well-equipped departments and has got two doctors. Headed by Dr. J. Suresh Kumar MDS (Paediatric & Preventive dentistry) who conducts daily O. P. from 9.30 Am to 1.00 Pm except Sundays. Dr. V. T.R. Thankaraj MDS (Maxilo facial Surgery) is on call-duty. He is specialized in management of complicated Maxilo-facial injuries.
Treatment Facilities
1. Routine Dental Treatment Procedures include Extractions, Fillings, Scaling (cleaning), periodontal procedures, aesthetic restorations, removable orthodontic appliances, removable partial dentures, complete dentures etc.
2. Periodic Dental, Oral and Perioral examination and assessment. Periodic oral hygiene measures.
3. Specialised Treatment procedures
Dental Management of Medically compromised patients under complete medical supervision. Eg: Diabetics, hypertensives, asthmatics, epileptics, cardiac patients, mentally and physically handicapped patients, and patients suffering from other systemic illnesses.
Management of infections - dental & oro-facial region.
Specialized oral surgical treatment - management of maxillofacial injuries including fractures of mandible, maxilla, alveolus, zygoma etc. cysts of the oro-facial region, dento-alveolar surgery including impacted teeth, apicectomy etc.
