The Department of Neurosurgery is staffed by highly qualified professionals with advanced training from renowned institutions. The department specializes in microneurosurgery and is equipped to perform complex procedures, including operations for aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs).
Our neurosurgical services also cover the treatment of challenging brain tumors, including transnasal and transsphenoidal pituitary surgery. The team is proficient in stereotaxy and video-endoscopy of the brain, offering cutting-edge care for various neurosurgical conditions. Additionally, the department excels in managing difficult spinal problems, performing microsurgical discectomies, spinal tumor surgeries, and spinal fixations. Microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia is another specialized procedure successfully performed at our hospital.
Department of Neurology
The Department of Neurology is well-equipped to diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders, including strokes, epilepsy, headaches, and degenerative, metabolic, and toxic conditions. Our Neurology ICU is designed to handle neurological emergencies such as status epilepticus and conditions like Guillain-Barré Syndrome and encephalitis, which may require mechanical ventilation.
The department is also home to a 16-channel Electroencephalography (EEG) lab, providing advanced diagnostic capabilities.
